About Brendan

Brendan practices municipal, land use planning, and development law for a mix of public and private clients across Ontario, including municipalities, developers, power generators, utilities, and individual homeowners. His work covers development approvals, municipal governance, official plan and zoning appeals, plans of subdivision, condominium developments, and municipal conflict of interest matters. He appears regularly before the Ontario Land Tribunal, the Toronto Local Appeal Body, committees of adjustment, and municipal councils. Brendan holds a BA in Urban Studies and Political Science from Concordia University and a JD from the University of Toronto. He joined Loopstra Nixon as a summer student in 2014 and has practiced there as a lawyer since his call to the bar in 2016.
