About Brad

Brad is a criminal defence associate at Friedman Mansour LLP. Before joining the firm, he articled with the Ontario Superior Court of Justice as a judicial law clerk, assisting judges with serious criminal files including murders, robberies, assaults, DUIs, and drug charges. He graduated from Queen's University Faculty of Law in 2021, winning multiple course prizes and Dean's List recognition, and earned his undergraduate degree in criminology and criminal justice from Carleton University with Honours and High Distinction in 2018. During law school he was a student caseworker with the Queen's Prison Law Clinic, representing clients at Collins Bay Institution in disciplinary hearings and parole preparation, represented Queen's at the 2021 Gale Cup criminal law moot, and served as Co-Managing Editor of Submissions for the Queen's Law Journal. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2022 and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Criminal Lawyers' Association, the Defence Counsel Association of Ottawa, and the County of Carleton Law Association.
