Friedman Mansour LLP is a criminal defence firm in downtown Ottawa, based at the corner of Elgin and Lisgar near Ottawa City Hall and Confederation Park. Named partners Solomon Friedman and Fady Mansour lead a team that handles criminal, quasi-criminal, and regulatory matters for clients across Ottawa and the wider East Region of Ontario. Their caseload runs from impaired driving and drug charges to firearms offences, sexual offences, violent crimes such as murder and manslaughter, and criminal appeals. The firm offers a free initial consultation and answers calls around the clock for emergencies.

Firearms law is a particular focus. Friedman co-authored the Annotated Firearms Act and Related Legislation, now in its fourth edition from LexisNexis Canada, teaches Evidence and Advanced Criminal Evidence part-time at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, and has testified on firearms legislation before House of Commons and Senate committees. Mansour, called to the bar in Alberta before Ontario, brings personal firearms and hunting experience to those files and can assist clients in Arabic as well as English. Associate Vanessa Garcia can work with clients in English, French, and Spanish, and counsel Leah West also teaches national security law at Carleton University's Norman Paterson School of International Affairs, adding an academic dimension to the practice.
