About Bérengère

Bérengère Laplanche has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 2020 and focuses her practice on ethics and professional discipline. She holds a dual master's degree in private law and criminal science from France and Germany, and began her career at the Attorney General's office at the Court of Appeal in Colmar, handling cross-border judicial assistance and criminal matters while also lecturing in legal drafting. She completed her legal qualification at the Université de Montréal and trained in dispute prevention and resolution in civil, commercial and labour matters. She spent more than four years as prosecuting counsel in professional discipline in Quebec, representing syndics and investigators from various professional orders in disciplinary and penal proceedings, particularly involving financial fraud and healthcare. She joined RBD Avocats in 2024, focusing on police ethics. She has spoken at OpenForumOuvert on disciplinary law and sits on the board of Festival Classica.
