About Andrew
Andrew was called to the bar in 1986 and focuses his practice on entertainment law. He worked in legal and business affairs for a music talent agency before spending three years at Russell & DuMoulin (now Fasken Martineau), one of Vancouver's leading firms, and then founding Atkins & Company in 1991. He acts for film and television producers and distributors, recording companies, management companies, and recording artists on rights acquisition, distribution, licensing, and management agreements, as well as advising on incorporations, partnerships, and corporate financing. He is a frequent panelist on film, television, and music law issues and has lectured at the University of British Columbia Law School and Trebas Music Institute. He is listed in the LEXPERT Directory as a leading practitioner in entertainment law.
