About Ashley
Ashley Light is an associate in the Disputes Group of Osler's Calgary office. She started at the firm as a summer student in 2022 and came back as an articling student in 2023. Ashley completed the combined JD/BCL program at McGill University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Conservation Sciences from the University of Alberta. During her studies, she took on editorial roles with the McGill Journal of Sustainable Development Law and with Rooted: An Indigenous Law Publication, and she worked as a teaching assistant for the first-year legal research and writing course.
