Michael S. Myers is a founding partner who has practised law in Ontario for more than 40 years. He began working alongside the firm's other founders in 1992, and the group formally established the firm in 2001. His current work centers on debt collection and contract enforcement, often pairing contract law with commercial litigation strategy to resolve business disputes. He has also built an 'urgent' litigation practice that can get matters into court within days rather than months, useful for closing real estate deals or freezing a fraudster's assets. Michael regularly represents a major Canadian bank on residential mortgage enforcement and retail debt recovery, and he runs a large motor vehicle repossession and collection practice under the Repair and Storage Lien Act. He earned his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1978 after a science degree from the University of Western Ontario.
