About Andrea

Andrea practises primarily in management-side labour and employment law, advising and advocating for employers on matters including labour standards, human rights, wrongful dismissals and labour relations. She has drafted employment agreements, workplace policies and legal opinions, and has conducted investigations into harassment complaints and employee misconduct. Born in St. John's, Andrea completed undergraduate degrees at Memorial University in commerce and political science, was named class valedictorian, and received the University of Calgary Faculty of Law's Renewable Undergraduate Merit Scholarship. She earned her J.D. from the University of Calgary, where she was active in the mooting program and won Top Oralist at the McGillivray Shield Moot. Andrea is a member of the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador and sits on the board of directors for Thrive, a community youth network, as vice chair.
