About Conor

Conor O'Neil, P.Eng., is a partner at Stewart McKelvey's Saint John office, practising in commercial litigation with a focus on construction and insurance claims, liens, surety bond claims, product liability, and professional errors and omissions matters involving architects and engineers. He has appeared before the New Brunswick Court of King's Bench, the New Brunswick Court of Appeal, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and arbitration tribunals. His work includes successfully defending an engineer in a $48 million action over a 54-day trial, obtaining the largest costs award in a New Brunswick trial decision, and representing parties in lien claims and mining and infrastructure disputes worth tens to hundreds of millions of dollars. Conor holds a JD and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both from the University of New Brunswick. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2013 and the New Brunswick bar in 2017, and is a Fellow of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers.
