Vanessa LeBlanc practises in estates and trusts, tax, and corporate/commercial law, focusing on estate, trust, and wealth transfer planning for individuals, families, and business owners. Her experience in both private practice and in-house roles at a financial institution and a trust company gives her a practical understanding of how estate plans work in real-world settings. She has administered estates and trusts ranging from modest amounts to over $100 million in value, including ones involving private corporations and cross-border assets. LeBlanc drafts wills, powers of attorney, and domestic agreements, and advises on trust structures and planning for disabled beneficiaries. She also assists charitable organizations with applications for charitable status and governance matters. She holds a Juris Doctor and a Master of Public Administration from Dalhousie University (2014), a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Francis Xavier University (2009), and earned her Trust and Estate Practitioner designation from STEP in 2022.
