About Andrea
Andrea is a partner and Canadian immigration lawyer based in Halifax who advises start-up and multinational clients across sectors including renewable energy, manufacturing, technology, and hospitality on bringing international talent to Canada. She began her career at another Halifax firm before launching an immigration practice at a firm affiliated with a Big Four accounting firm, then moved her practice to Barteaux Labour and Employment Lawyers, joining McInnes Cooper when it merged with Barteaux in 2025. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New Brunswick and was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2003.
