About Amanda

Amanda Lutz is a partner at Kennedy Schofield Lutz Lawyers, practicing real estate law, wills and estates, and corporate law. She offers mobile legal services and early morning appointments to accommodate clients whose schedules don't fit typical office hours. Born and raised in the Halifax area, she volunteers with the Legal Information Society of Nova Scotia and participated in the Dalhousie Legal Aid Wills Project, which provided wills to low-income seniors, and serves or has served on the boards of the St. Margaret's Bay Food Bank, the St. Margaret's Bay Business Association, the Tantallon Wildfire Life Safety Coalition, the Highland Park Rate Payers Association, and the Military Family Resource Centre. As the spouse and daughter of retired military members, she has a special interest in working with military families through deployments, house hunting, and military exercises. She joined the firm as an associate lawyer in 2016 after completing her articles, and became a partner in 2019. She graduated cum laude from Saint Mary's University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Religious Studies, with a minor in French, and earned her Juris Doctor with a Certificate in Business Law from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University.
