About Charlotte

Charlotte Edwards is a partner at Kennedy Schofield Lutz Lawyers, practicing family law, real estate, and wills and estates, including probate. She joined the firm as an articled clerk, became an associate lawyer, and now practices as a partner. Originally from St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, she has lived in Nova Scotia since 2005. She graduated from the Schulich School of Law in 2013, receiving the HG Puddester Prize for community involvement and academic performance in Public Law, and gained legal research experience as a Research Assistant for Dalhousie University professors. Before joining the firm, she worked in the non-profit sector in Quality and Risk Management roles. She has volunteered with the St. Margaret's Bay Housing Coalition, the Brain Injury Association of Nova Scotia, and the Xara Choral Theatre Boards. She holds a Master of Health Administration and an undergraduate degree in Commerce, both from Dalhousie University, and joined the firm's partnership effective January 2024.
