About Stephen

Stephen D. Ling has practised with Landry McGillivray since 1993, starting as an articled clerk, and has been a partner since 1995. Originally from Prince Edward Island, he worked in real estate, international manufacturing, import/export and retail before law school and brings that business experience to his practice. His real estate work covers condominium law, land acquisition, subdivision development, new home construction and financing; his corporate work includes wind-ups, tax reorganizations, amalgamations, franchising and family trusts. Ling earned a B.Sc. and an M.B.A. from Acadia University in 1975 and 1977 and an LL.B. from Dalhousie University in 1993.
