About Allison

Allison Godey joined Terra Law as an associate in 2017 and became a director of the firm in January 2019. Her practice covers all aspects of commercial real estate, including acquisition, financing, development, sale, and leasing of development and investment properties, and she regularly advises on Real Estate Development Marketing Act and Strata Property Act compliance and real estate financing. She has extensive experience negotiating commercial leases and is recognized by Best Lawyers as a leading lawyer in Commercial Leasing Law and Real Estate Law. Recent transactions include the acquisition of an office building in the False Creek Flats neighbourhood, an industrial park in Burnaby, and a multi-tenant office building in downtown Vancouver, together worth over $400 million. She holds a law degree from the University of Victoria and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2012. Allison is a member of the Urban Development Institute, NAIOP, Commercial Real Estate Women, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Vancouver Bar Association, and co-authored a chapter of the BC Real Estate Practice Manual.
