About Alexa
Alexa Jarvis is a litigator with Stieber Berlach with extensive trial and appellate experience. She has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario and before administrative tribunals such as the College of Physicians and Surgeons, representing medical professionals in complex proceedings including a lengthy jury trial and one of the province's first common issues class action trials. Her practice covers sexual abuse litigation, institutional liability, Indigenous law, complex class actions, medical malpractice, and professional liability, and she has also argued numerous motions and appeals for commercial clients. Before joining the firm, she practiced at a major commercial litigation firm in Toronto. She earned her law degree from Dalhousie University, where she won several academic prizes, and holds a combined honours B.A. in philosophy and sociology from the University of King's College. She was admitted to the Ontario bar in 2021 and belongs to the Advocates' Society and the Ontario Bar Association.
