Alana is a partner in Gowling WLG's Toronto office and member of the Financial Services Regulation Group. Her practice is particularly focused on financial services regulation, banking, insurance and reinsurance, and anti-money laundering, and she also advises on matters pertaining to payments in Canada. She regularly advises Canadian and foreign financial institutions and service providers on Canadian regulatory, compliance and corporate governance matters, and has extensive experience assisting clients with financial institutions regulation, money services business regulation, FinTech and financial services intermediary licensing matters across Canada.
