Adam Wheeler is a litigator who represents clients in complex criminal, civil, constitutional, and Indigenous law matters. He has appeared before every level of court in Ontario, plus the Supreme Court of Canada, mainly on appeals and judicial reviews. His experience covers treaty litigation, land claims, and other regulatory work, along with matters involving human rights, health law, professional discipline, and child wellbeing. Before joining Foglers, he was provincial Crown Counsel and argued more than 20 appeals and motions at the Court of Appeal for Ontario. He also negotiates for Indigenous governments on matters like natural resources and child and family wellbeing, and sits on Toronto's Multi-Tenant House Licensing Tribunal. Outside his law practice, Adam is involved in mental health and housing issues and has served as past Chair of the Gerstein Crisis Centre board.
