About Charlie

Charlie Kim is a partner in Robins Appleby's Business and Transactions group, called to the Ontario bar in 2010. His practice centers on mergers and acquisitions, debt financing, private capital markets, and shareholder and partnership arrangements, handled in Canadian, cross-border, and international contexts. His clients include private equity firms, business owners, and lenders, and he works with a network of advisors to help foreign investors doing business in Canada. Charlie earned his J.D. from Queen's University and a B.A. from Western University. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Korean Canadian Lawyers Association, where he previously served as Vice-President. Fluent in Korean, he is a native of South Korea.
