About Alexandra

Alexandra Neacsu Monkhouse is the managing partner at Monkhouse Law, practicing employment law and general litigation with a focus on major claims and class actions. Before joining the firm she summered, articled, and worked as an associate at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP. She attended Osgoode Hall Law School in the top ten percent of her class and holds an LLM in business law from the University of Toronto, along with degrees in civil and European business law earned in France and Romania. She has clerked for the Court of Appeal of Paris, interned with both of France's supreme courts, and completed a traineeship with the European Commission in Brussels. She has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Supreme Court of Canada, and has served as co-counsel on several certified class actions over unpaid vacation and holiday pay. She also practices in French and Romanian.
