Krol and Marilyn Krol founded the firm together. Henry earned an LLB from McGill University in 1980 and was called to the Ontario bar in 1982, and Marilyn was admitted to McGill's law school at 18 and graduated with both a civil law and a common law degree by 21. The firm practised from downtown Toronto for more than twenty years before relocating to Richmond Hill.
