Teplitsky LLP is a civil litigation firm at Suite 200, 70 Bond Street in downtown Toronto. Martin Teplitsky, Q.C. co-founded the practice with Robert Colson under the name Teplitsky, Colson LLP. Colson practiced there for more than forty years before leaving to start a new firm, and the practice continued under the Teplitsky name. The firm's home page describes it as operating in Toronto since 1979, while a separate page on the firm's own site says Teplitsky founded the firm in 1980. Teplitsky taught at Osgoode Hall Law School and worked as a mediator and arbitrator alongside running the firm, and hand-picked colleagues over the years to build the team. The firm's home page says it has earned its reputation as "assertive, creative advocates." Teplitsky kept practicing until 2016.

The firm's lawyers now handle bankruptcy and insolvency, commercial litigation, construction liens and construction litigation, employment law, estate litigation, franchise law, professional negligence, and real estate and municipal disputes. In its employment and franchise work, the firm takes on both sides of a dispute, representing employers and employees, or franchisors and franchisees, rather than acting for only one side.
