About Jonathan

Jonathan D. Kulathungam is a partner at Teplitsky LLP, where he completed his articles in 1999 before becoming an associate and then a partner in 2008. His litigation practice is broad, covering partnership and shareholder disputes, construction litigation, land development matters, commercial leasing, professional negligence claims, and employment litigation. Jonathan has appeared before every level of court in Ontario, including the Court of Appeal, as well as before the Law Society's Discipline Hearing Panel and the National Parole Board, and he has represented the Real Estate Council of Ontario and clients appearing before it. He chairs the firm's Articling and Mentorship Program, a role he has held for over fourteen years, and regularly judges law school moots and speaks at continuing education programs. He earned his BA in philosophy from Trent University in 1993 and his LLB from Queen's University in 1997, and was called to the Ontario bar in 1999.
