Paris & Sayer LLP is a commercial litigation firm with an office in Toronto's financial district, at Brookfield Place on Bay Street. The firm traces to its predecessor, Paris & Company, which Neil Paris founded in 2014 after 12 years at a large Bay Street firm. Denise Sayer, who clerked for justices of the Ontario Court of Appeal and later practiced corporate commercial and class action litigation at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP and Paliare Roland Rosenberg Rothstein LLP, joined as a co-founder, and the firm became Paris & Sayer LLP. It now has eight lawyers who handle disputes for businesses and individuals across a range of industries.
The firm's caseload runs from shareholder and partnership disputes to commercial contract claims, employment litigation, and professional negligence claims against accountants, auditors, and lawyers. It also handles franchise disputes, privacy and freedom of information matters, defamation, and cross-border litigation, and appears at every level of the Canadian court system. Neil Paris has more than 20 years of experience in commercial litigation, holds a certificate in dispute resolution from Harvard Law School's Program on Negotiation, and argued a case before the Supreme Court of Canada in 2024. Denise Sayer holds a law degree from Queen's University and a business degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, and focuses on shareholder disputes in closely held private corporations.

By appointmentParis & Sayer's office is in the TD Canada Trust Tower at Brookfield Place, part of a two-tower complex that spans the block between Yonge, Wellington, Bay, and Front Streets in Toronto's financial district. The complex is known for the Allen Lambert Galleria, a six-story glass atrium designed by Santiago Calatrava that connects to the underground PATH walkway, and for the Hockey Hall of Fame, housed in a converted 1885 bank building at the Yonge and Front corner. The address puts the firm inside the same block as many of the corporations, accounting firms, and financial institutions that feature in the shareholder, partnership, and professional negligence disputes it handles.
