About Yvan

Yvan Silva is a lawyer at Gibsons LLP practising civil litigation and corporate law, with more than ten years in the legal field. He was called to the Bar of Brazil in 2012 and to the Bar of Ontario in 2026. Originally from Sao Paulo, he now practises from Ottawa. He holds an LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University, a postgraduate diploma in tax law from Damasio Educational, an advanced diploma in international business from the Nova Scotia Community College, and an LL.B. from Brazil University. He is fluently bilingual in English and Portuguese.
