About Matthew

Matthew Joseph practises litigation and dispute resolution, not-for-profit law, and business law at Arbique & Ahde. Before joining the firm in 2019, he practised law in Toronto and British Columbia, beginning his career in-house for an automotive company. He holds a law degree from the University of Ottawa and a Master of Laws from the University of Victoria, and is licensed to practise in both Ontario and British Columbia. His civil litigation practice ranges from real property and estate disputes to commercial and insolvency matters, and he regularly appears before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and various administrative tribunals. He also advises not-for-profit organizations on governance and compliance matters.
