About D.

Lewis McCowell has practised as a solicitor in the National Capital region for more than 35 years. His work focuses on residential real estate, mortgage financing, and real estate development, along with drafting wills, powers of attorney and trusts, and administering estates. He periodically holds seminars on wills and estate planning. McCowell is a former member of the Board of Directors of Ottawa Salus Corporation, a non-profit that provides supportive housing for people recovering from mental illness. He was called to the Ontario bar in 1986 and holds an LL.B. from the University of Ottawa and a B.A. (Honours History) from the University of Western Ontario.
