About Youssef
Youssef focuses his practice on advancing the rights of working people. Before being called to the bar, he clerked at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, helping judges with civil and criminal trials, appeals, and judicial reviews of labour arbitration decisions, an experience that shaped his approach to litigation. While studying at Osgoode Hall Law School, he spent eight months with Parkdale Community Legal Services' Workers' Rights Division, representing employees in wrongful dismissal cases and human rights applications. He also volunteered with the Workers' Action Centre and organized strike support through the Osgoode Hall Law Union. Youssef graduated in the top ten percent of his class and earlier completed a political science degree at York University. He was called to the bar in 2020.
