About Yamini
Yamini Harish is a member of the Law Society of Ontario who earned her LL.M. in International Business from Osgoode Hall Law School and holds an LL.B. from the National University of Advanced Legal Studies in India. She defends clients facing criminal charges across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, appearing before both the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice. Her cases include assault, including domestic and sexual assault, drug offences, weapons charges, and impaired driving, and she regularly handles bail hearings. Before practising in Ontario, she worked in litigation and dispute resolution in India, which she draws on when advising clients from diverse backgrounds. She is an authorized Legal Aid Ontario lawyer, taking on Gladue matters and Consent and Capacity Board proceedings, and she communicates in English, Hindi, and Kannada.
