Bill continues to practise as a lawyer in wills and estates, but his main work now is as a mediator and arbitrator in family law and estate disputes. He is a Chartered Mediator with the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Canada and sits on the civil and family rosters of ADRBC and Mediate BC, offering mediation both in person and by Zoom. He was called to the bar in 1984 after clerking for Mr. Justice McIntyre of the Supreme Court of Canada, and has spent his entire career at Cox Taylor. He holds a BA in psychology from the University of British Columbia (1976) and a law degree from the University of Victoria (1982), and has 38 years of experience as a litigator in the BC Supreme Court and Court of Appeal.
