About William

William Kean is a partner at Brenton Kean practising corporate and commercial law, banking and finance, bankruptcy, estate planning, director and officer liability, and real estate. He received a BBA in 1988 and an LLB in 1992 from the University of New Brunswick, and was called to the New Brunswick Bar in 1993. He advises small and medium-sized business owners and their families on financing, mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, regulatory matters, governance, and succession planning. He has served as an instructor at the Bar Admission Course and as a member of the Law Society of New Brunswick's Planning Law Advisory Committee. He was appointed Queen's Counsel in 2018 and is recognized by The Best Lawyers in Canada for banking and finance law, corporate law, director and officer liability, and real estate law.
