About William

William (Bill) Shores founded Shores Jardine in 1995 to focus on the practice of public law and now works as Counsel to the firm. His practice centres on administrative, municipal and planning law and civil litigation, advising and representing governmental entities and professional regulators in complex administrative law matters, judicial review and appellate litigation. He taught constitutional and administrative law to senior government employees at the University of Alberta for fifteen years and remains a frequent presenter at administrative law seminars and conferences. Bill was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 1987, holds an LL.B. with Distinction and an MPA from the University of Alberta, and was appointed Queen's Counsel in 2006.
