About David

David Jardine has acted as general counsel and prosecuting counsel for professional regulatory agencies for more than three decades and now frequently serves as independent counsel to boards and tribunals. He is also an experienced commercial and insolvency litigator with extensive appearances before the Court of Appeal of Alberta and the Court of Queen's Bench. David has been Assistant Editor of the Administrative Law Reports (Thomson Carswell) since 2005 and is a frequent speaker at legal seminars, including as a sessional instructor in administrative law at the University of Alberta Faculty of Law. He was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 1978 and holds an LL.B. with Distinction from the University of Alberta and an LL.M. from the University of British Columbia.
