About Ashley

Ashley Reid began her articles with Shores Jardine in July 2020 and assists senior lawyers with administrative law, municipal law and professional regulation matters. She grew up on her family's farm in Cremona, Alberta, and her rural background shaped her academic work, including an honours thesis surveying local farmers on proposed legislation and law school research on how human rights law applies to rural and remote populations. During law school she completed three competitive moots, interned with the Edmonton Mental Health Court, volunteered with Student Legal Services, and worked as a policy analyst for a professional regulator. Ashley holds a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from the University of Alberta.
