Business & Corporate LawGwendolyn Stewart-Palmer advises municipal clients across Alberta on jurisdictional, procedural, bylaw and contract matters, and regularly appears before the Land and Property Rights Tribunal and other municipal boards. She spent twelve years as a litigator for the City of Edmonton's Law Branch before joining Shores Jardine in 2003 and becoming a partner in 2007, and her practice has expanded to include employment law and workplace investigations. Gwendolyn updates Fred Laux's leading text, Planning Law and Practice in Alberta, and is a past four-time chair of the CBA Municipal Law Section (North). She was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 1987, holds an LL.M. from the London School of Economics, and received the CBA Municipal Law Award of Excellence in 2023.
