About Vivian

Vivian Lau is a Barrister and Solicitor and Notary Public in Ontario, admitted to the bar in 2026 after practicing as a solicitor in Hong Kong for over a decade, where she is currently non-practicing. She has more than 12 years of experience advising public companies, financial institutions, businesses, and private clients on corporate, commercial, real estate, regulatory, and cross-border matters, and has also handled estate planning and administration work. In Hong Kong she advised listed companies on corporate transactions, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, financing, and cross-border structures, plus commercial contracting and real estate deals. At the firm she is continuing to build her estate planning practice alongside partner K.B. Ng. She is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and holds an LL.M. in Corporate and Financial Law and a P.C.LL from the University of Hong Kong, along with an LL.B. from the University of London and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Hong Kong.
