Civil Litigation & Dispute ResolutionVik Tenekjian is a litigator whose practice focuses on intellectual property enforcement, acting for major technology and software clients such as Microsoft, Autodesk, and the Business Software Alliance. His work spans contractual and licensing disputes, copyright and trademark litigation, and patent litigation, including pharmaceutical and oil and gas patent matters. He has appeared before the Federal Court and its Court of Appeal, plus the Supreme Court of British Columbia. Vik earned his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2005 and a B.Sc. in microbiology and immunology, with a minor in Hispanic studies, from McGill University in 2001, graduating with honours and distinction. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2006. Before his current practice, he was a partner at Gilbert's LLP and earlier an associate at Smart & Biggar and Gowling WLG. Outside the office, Vik has traveled to more than 45 countries and enjoys surfing and hiking.
