About Victoria

Victoria Zavitz has seen the criminal justice system from both sides, having worked as a Crown Attorney before joining Kruse Law as a defence lawyer. She has defended clients through trials in the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Courts of Justice, winning acquittals on charges ranging from aggravated assault and sexual offences to impaired driving, robbery, drug trafficking, and firearms offences. Victoria earned a Juris Doctor from Bond University in Australia, graduating at the top of her class with first-class distinction, after completing an Honours Bachelor of Commerce at Western. In law school she placed first in both Criminal Law and Constitutional Law and served as a student editor of the Bond Law Review. Before moving to prosecution work as a Crown Attorney, she built her reputation as a partner at a well-known London criminal defence firm.
