About Victoria
Victoria Winter is a partner in Beard Winter's Trusts and Estate Planning Group and a designated Trust and Estate Practitioner. Her work covers estate planning and succession, including preparing wills, powers of attorney and domestic, international and Henson trusts, along with corporate reorganizations and business succession planning. She advises clients on minimizing income tax and probate fees, handles estate administration, and helps set up private charitable foundations for financial institutions, corporate trustees, accounting firms, family businesses and private clients. Winter joined the firm in 2005 after practising in the trusts and estates group of a national Toronto law firm since her call to the bar in 1995. She holds a law degree from Osgoode Hall and, beyond her legal work, is a double Pan American medallist in dressage and chairs the Dressage Committee of Equestrian Canada.
