About Véronique

Véronique Jacques practises family law and youth protection litigation at Goldwater Droit, appearing before the Superior Court, the Quebec Court of Appeal and the Youth Division of the Court of Québec. Her filiation and paternity work has produced Superior Court orders establishing filiation over repeated DNA-test refusals, and her youth protection practice has secured exclusive custody in cases involving physical and psychological abuse. Her broader family law practice covers contested divorce trials, parenting time, support, division of assets and international relocations. Before joining Goldwater Droit in 2023, she spent close to a decade as a partner at a social-justice oriented law firm. Jacques earned her LL.B. from the Université de Sherbrooke in 2013 and was called to the Quebec Bar in 2014. She works in French and English.
