About Vanessa

Vanessa practises in three areas: wills and estates, real estate, and corporate and intellectual property law. She helps families with estate planning from simple wills to complex trust planning for high-net-worth clients, assists buyers and sellers with residential real estate purchases, sales and refinancing, and advises businesses of all sizes on corporate matters and intellectual property, including filing Canadian and US trademark applications as a Registered Trademark Agent. She earned her Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Exeter, England in 2001, then obtained a Canadian LL.B. equivalency through the University of Manitoba in 2005. A Kelowna resident since 2006, she is a monthly legal columnist for Forever Young magazine and The View, and is active with the Kelowna Estate Planning Society, the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce and the Kelowna Bar Association.
