About Kelty

Kelty is a lawyer in MT+Co.'s Indigenous Law Group and a graduate of the inaugural JD/JID Joint Degree Program in Canadian Common Law and Indigenous Legal Orders. She works with Indigenous peoples revitalizing their laws and governance structures, drawing on the Indigenous Legal Research Method developed by Dr. Val Napoleon. She clerked with Chief Justice Bauman at the BC Court of Appeal from 2022 to 2023. She was called to the BC bar in 2024 and received the Law Society Gold Medal in 2022.
