About Usman
Usman Sadiq is the managing lawyer at Simple Divorce, having practised exclusively in family law since being called to the Ontario bar in 2013. He earned his law degree at the University of Windsor in 2012. As a litigator, negotiator, and mediator, Usman handles the full range of family law matters, including divorce, parenting and decision-making, mobility, child and spousal support, and property division. He believes clients make their best decisions once they understand their rights and options, so he takes time explaining each matter before it moves forward. Where negotiation or mediation can achieve a fair result he recommends that route, but he advocates in court when needed. He belongs to the Law Society of Ontario and several U.S. trial lawyer associations.
