About Eyad Shhap

Family law is the heart of Eyad Shhap's work as an associate lawyer at Drake Law, and the practice also takes in wills and estate planning and civil litigation. Eyad serves clients in Arabic as well as English.

Eyad didn't arrive at Canadian law as a beginner. Seven years of family practice in Syria came first, with plenty of time spent in litigation and standing up for clients. After the move to Canada, Eyad requalified for Ontario through Osgoode Hall Law School and Toronto Metropolitan University, then joined the Ontario bar in 2025.

Locally, Eyad belongs to both the Middlesex Law Association and the Middlesex Family Law Association.
