About Ugo

Ugo Brisson co-founded BLP Avocats after spending nearly ten years as a partner at another law firm. For more than 20 years, his practice has focused on civil and commercial litigation and real estate law, including extraordinary and urgent remedies such as injunctions. He takes a practical approach that weighs both the legal and business dimensions of a file, and has represented clients including a trustee and beneficiaries of an Ontario trust, a refrigeration company pursuing a former shareholder for fraud, and food distributors in trademark and non-competition disputes. He served as a director and officer of Cystic Fibrosis Quebec from 2006 to 2016 and co-founded the Juritour fundraising event for the organization, and was a director and officer of the Carrefour Jeunesse-Emploi de Marquette from 2008 to 2022.
