About Tyler
Tyler Morrison's practice covers commercial and civil litigation, spanning shareholder disputes, contractual disagreements, proxy fights, liability claims against directors and officers, trust and estate matters, regulatory proceedings, and class actions. He also has experience with disputes touching on both cultural and business issues facing Indigenous peoples. His court experience includes matters heard in Ontario courts at every level, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and regulatory bodies including provincial securities commissions and Ontario's Energy Board, and he appears regularly before Toronto's Commercial List. Before joining his current firm, he practised at a large international law firm focused on similar litigation work. Tyler earned his J.D. from Queen's University in 2019, finishing in the top ten percent of his class with the highest standing in contract law, and he was called to the Ontario bar in 2020.
