About Sotonye
Sotonye Godwin-Hart represents unions in all aspects of labour relations, including terminations, workplace accommodation, contract and policy interpretation, and human rights matters, advocating for clients in arbitrations and mediations before administrative tribunals and BC's Supreme and Provincial Courts. She brings advocacy experience from Nigeria, where she represented unions in appellate proceedings, and also advises senior management and executives on contract negotiations, wrongful dismissal, and severance matters. She serves as a board member of the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers BC Branch and the Union Gospel Mission.
