About Tyler

Tyler Godard practises labour, employment, administrative and human rights law, and in addition to his litigation practice represents union clients as a negotiator during collective bargaining. He received his JD with Distinction from the University of Alberta, clerked at the Court of King's Bench in Edmonton, and completed his articles and practised as an associate at a regional, full-service Edmonton firm. Prior to law school he studied economics at Queen's University and worked for public interest organizations advancing adult literacy, prison reform, employee rights and housing security. Tyler was called to the Alberta bar in 2022 and the Northwest Territories bar in 2025, and sits on the CBA Labour & Employment Law North Executive.
