About Tomasz
Tomasz (Tom) Zworski is Senior Counsel at Lidstone & Company. He has spent his career representing local governments, individual elected officials, municipal staff, and police officers, appearing before the Supreme Court of Canada, all levels of BC courts, and numerous administrative boards and tribunals. For fifteen years he was City Solicitor at the City of Victoria, having earlier articled and practised at the City of Vancouver's law department. His in-house work spanned constitutional law, First Nations relations, construction and procurement, elections, governance, conflicts of interest, freedom of information and privacy, contract negotiation, bylaw enforcement, property taxation, policing, civil liability claims, and land use matters. At Lidstone & Company, Zworski focuses on judicial reviews, chambers applications, appeals, and administrative tribunal hearings, and teaches municipal law and sustainability as an adjunct professor at the University of Victoria's Faculty of Law.
