Thomas Yates is a partner in the Ottawa office admitted as a solicitor and barrister in Ontario and as a solicitor-advocate in England & Wales. He has more than 15 years of experience in large-scale, high-value, multi-jurisdictional commercial dispute resolution, specializing in advising multinational companies, private equity funds, and ultra high-net-worth individuals on corporate and commercial disputes. He is experienced in all forms of litigation and alternative dispute resolution, with particular expertise in domestic and international arbitration, and has acted in numerous arbitrations under the LCIA, ICC, SIAC, and UNCITRAL rules. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and accepts appointments as an arbitrator.
